BT Express / Stretch (1980)

This is the first of many posts where I will share a rare 12" that's being lying gathering dust somewhere - either in my bedroom or in a charity shop / second hand store. This week it's BT Express with Stretch.

Stretch is a slow-grooved Disco number with a vocoded chorus that sounds just like a Daft Punk sample. I honestly knew nothing about BT Express until I found this 12" in a cheeky little shop under one of Brixton's railway arches. On the Excaliber label, this is really funky track, if a little slow (I'll leave you to speed it up...!) Lie back and enjoy!
